Nursery & Preschool Ministry

We welcome you to the nursery webpage of Berean Baptist Church. We thank God for each baby that is placed in our care, and we understand the great responsibility and trust that each parent has bestowed on the nursery.

Our nurseries strive to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment so that parents can worship confidently, knowing their children are well cared for.

In addition, our nurseries provide a comfortable place to meet the children's needs, lessen the distractions in the main auditorium, and give parents the opportunity to serve in various ministries being conducted all over the campus.

Safety, security, and cleanliness are at the top of our list of priorities.

Each volunteer faithfully attends Berean Baptist Church, goes through an interview, grants permission for a background check, trains with a supervisor, and reads a nursery handbook that is designed to give specific information for each nursery. Volunteers are always teamed by two or more. Each room is equipped with age appropriate toys, cribs, and rockers along with snacks chosen specifically for every age level. Disposable gloves are always worn for each diaper change. Afterwards, the worker's hands and the changing mat are sanitized.

Lastly, for protection and peace of mind, claim tags, labels, information cards, and pagers are all in place when you register your child. Our nursery staff will contact you during the service if needed.

On Sunday Mornings our babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are cared for in small groups by faithful volunteers in the following age groups:

• Birth - 6 months
• 6 - 12 months
• 12 - 18 months
• 18 - 24 months
• 2 years old
• 3 years old
• 4 - 5 years old
