Volunteer Opportunities
It is our desire to allow those who have the gift of teaching to exercise their gift and to develop themselves within this local body. There are other expectations besides teaching for one to lead an Adult Bible Fellowship class such as caring, follow-up, etc.... In addition to the expectations, there are additional concerns about the character possessed by those who stand to minister the Word of God before God's people. It is for this reason that we conduct a short questionnaire which will be viewed by someone on the pastoral staff and approved by the Associate Pastor. We believe the teacher is also called to shepherd the flock (Ephesians 4:11), and that this calling carries with it a most sobering accountability (James 3:1). Please prayerfully consider your desire to lead God's people in any facet.

Position: AWANA Club Leader
Description: Children’s Bible Club Ministry needs enthusiastic adults to be handbook time leaders. Leaders are responsible for the oversight of other AWANA helpers within their group. Leaders are also responsible for the accurate completion of records for awards. Leaders will need to consistently attend AWANA and listen to children say their memory verses each Wednesday evening from 6:15 to 8:15 PM in the Academy building. Training is required and provided. You need to be a church member for this position. A Children's Ministry Volunteer Application must be completed prior to starting this position.
