Youth Pastor

Pastor Joe and his family came to us out of our congregation. A former Special Forces soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg, Joe and Rachel both began to sense the Lord leading them into a full time youth ministry. At the same time that they began to search out possible ministries, Berean found itself without a youth pastor. The rest is history!  Joe and Rachel have three children, two daughters, Madelaine and Marcella; and the most recent edition to the family, the man child Jude.

Things you might like to know about Pastor Joe:

• Favorite Book: Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper

• Favorite Past Time: Climbing, camping and generally being outside.

• Favorite Movie:  Most recently Inception!  It was like The Matrix and Oceans 11 came together.
• Best way to spend an evening:  I really enjoy sitting on my front porch with my wife.  Sometimes we read a book together and sometimes we just sit and talk.
• Favorite Country:  I have been to many but I would have to say that I really enjoy the food from Spain the most.  So I would have to say Spain.  The cities there are great too.
  
• Favorite Restaurant:  Kyoto (I love sushi!)
• Best way to spend a Saturday:  Taking the family on a day trip to a small town and walking around in the downtown.
